I’ve completed my first day at BlogHer and I’m looking forward to what’s to come tomorrow. I’ve met so many great people. I went to a party at Martha Stewart’s office, it was nice. tasted some wonderful appetizers. Yum. I had a terrific blueberry  smoothy and delicious cupcakes.

Then I walked back to my hotel – enjoyed the exercise, but my feet have blisters. Tomorrow, I’m going to go for a run, then head back to the conference.

I wasn’t sure what to expect that this event, and still, I’m not quite sure what’s to come. I can tell you this though…I’ve enjoyed writing this blog and appreciate all your comments and connections. I don’t have any other friends who write a blog, so nobody really relates to the amount of work, the enjoyment I get from writing and what’s involved with juggling. If nothing else, it’s really nice to meet a group who can relate, to share tips and get advice. I do this blog for a bunch of different reasons; but at the very core is simply a desire to help parents raise healthy, happy, responsible and respectful boys who will be good members of society someday. But…I want to hear from you – about your experiences and suggestions. Please email me with your advice on raising boys and I’ll publish your post on the site. This is a community, and we’re in it together!
