Wow, it’s been a long stint that I’ve been away from this blog. Time – it’s hard to harness sometimes.
It’s graduation time and another class of graduate hopefuls come before us. After all the hoopla this means- hopefully – moving onto to contributing to the real world. With college costs being as high as they they are these days – and no signs of slowing down – a parent hopes that their child will make the right choices so as to make their college experience on that will carry them far up the ladder of success.
If you have a high school student heading off to college this huge leap in life your sons faces – along with the financial commitment – I’m sure has you worried. What can you do to ensure that your son is a successful college student? Will he graduate in 4 years or 6? How can you prepare him for the real world? Does he know your expectations?
Jeff Lodovici is a contributor on RaisingBoysWorld.com that would be worthwhile for you to check out. His article on whether community colleges are good for your son is worth a read.
