A Message From Renee

Just a short time ago, I found myself standing exactly where you might be today — with a big, beautiful dream that felt both inspiring and unattainable. My heart was yearning to become more engaged with my creativity and my spirit, yet I couldn’t find a place that would understand my desire and have resources available to fill my cup, as they say. It felt impossible, but a promise to myself changed everything.

For six months, I let fear and overwhelm hold me back. But one pivotal morning, I committed to myself to taking one small step a day to move my dream forward. It seemed small, but it has transformed my life. After a little over two years of consistent effort, I now have my dream company. A place for people to come and find their creative spirit and grow through peaceful interactions, classes and workshops.

For a while, it was just understanding where I needed to begin: I asked questions, read books, and sat and listened at the knee of people I trusted and respected. After 11 months of steady small steps, I took a big breath and cautiously open the doors to my dream. WovenSmart.

It has been the most fulfilling thing I have done for myself and has challenged me to face fears, stay true to my dream vision and create a space I want to see in this world.

Our open studio supporting local artists, our courses and programs to encourage and connect, and workshops to gently challenge through thoughtful interactions have all been part of my dream. All this has been and continues to be guideposts on the road to my vision. But there is a need for more in my heart.

I am continuing to listen to my dreams and stepping out past my fears. I am EXCITED to announce that there is going to be a WovenSmart Community which will be an online space that holds the same spirit, energy and mission as the current studio. It will be able to reach more people and share more insights. I am overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and encouragement to create this space. Dreams do come true!

There is a big ask I have of you. This online community is for you, offering what you want to improve your creative journey and your sense of self. I am asking you to let me know what you want. What you are lacking in your life. What you would come and interact for. I am building something magical, and I want all your ideas to come along and be a part of it.

 Please fill out the form and don’t hold back! No idea is too small or too scary. What would you like to have? Now is the time, because I am in the process of harvesting all I can to make this community be truly fulfilling and helpful.

 This form will be available for the next month. Your heartfelt support and wonderful ideas are what will make it the perfect offering.
