Packing for a trip is very frustrating for oneself, let alone packing for your boys as well. Depending on the age of your son(s) your luggage may vary. One thing for certain is that boys constantly need to be entertained, so do not forget to pack little activities/toys to keep them busy throughout the traveling/vacationing. Now, you must realize that there are many different factors that determine what you should and shouldn’t bring, for example: weather, place, how you’re traveling (car, plane, train), length of vacation, and special needs. However, some of the basic necessities that you should bring no matter where or when are:

  • Non-perishable foods
  • Water
  • Sunscreen
  • Medical supplies
  • Pass-time activities
  • Under garments
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Extra clothing

It is important to make a checklist when determining what to bring so you don’t forget about significant items. Leaving packing for last minute may cause a lot of stress and running around. It is important for each family to consider their certain lifestyle and pack according to that. Every family is different therefore their lists may vary depending on their child’s needs.

If traveling by plane, make sure to pack a carryon with extra clothes and important goods just incase your luggage is delayed or lost. Also, when traveling in the air, dress everyone in layers to easily remove/put on clothes depending on temperature.

Vacationing is supposed to be relaxing and fun, although you will need to be well prepared ahead of time to make sure the days run as smooth and cry-free as possible.

Here is a link to a helpful checklist that you can print out to make your packing less stressful:

Now that the family is all set and packed don’t forget to have relax and have a fun time; it is vacation after all!
