This is a view of Lake Erie from the East 9th Street Pier in Cleveland, Ohio. The painting is in oil on a gallery canvas that measures approximately 20×60. The location is where the couple who commissioned me to do the painting, had their first date. It currently hangs in their bedroom. It’s such an honor to have the opportunity to create something so meaningful for such a wonderful couple. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Meanwhile, 21 years ago today, my husband and I celebrated our wedding day with family and friends. So much has happened over the last 21 years. We welcomed four amazing boys, new relatives, and new adventures into our lives. We met met new friends and said goodbye to family no longer with us. We moved to a new city. Changed homes, jobs and schools. We went from diapers to drivers education; pursing dreams to living dreams. We’ve stayed focused on some things and re-focused on others. We’ve grown and evolved both physically and mentally. An ever-changing journey of organized chaos and unexpected surprises. While nothing and nobody is certainly perfect, this is perfectly my life and I can’t imagine sharing it with anyone else.
